Hopkins MIddle School is bustling with excitement as we watch the snow come down and anticipate the Christmas season. We are also working hard on setting up three new classes of Reading Essentials. Reading Essentials will begin right after Christmas Vacation on January 3, 2011. It will meet during the Discovery Class time for 40 minutes each day.
I'm looking forward to getting started and setting our reading goals. I know students will be making great progress with the CAFE Menu strategies that they choose.
Enjoy your Christmas break and take some time to read. That practice is the best thing you can do to get better. I'll have lots of books for you to choose from when you return on January 3, 2011.
